About The Position

The EVS/Linen Technician 1, under direct supervision, performs general cleaning, linen, and maintenance services. This role involves performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as various linen duties. The technician may operate and care for specialized floor equipment, including stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, shampooing, extracting, sweeping, and mopping. They will follow a daily cleaning schedule utilizing approved aseptic techniques and specialized cleaning processes with a variety of cleaning devices. The role requires the safe and proper use of cleaning solutions, adherence to all safety precautions, and wearing personal protective equipment when necessary. Following infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures is crucial to ensure a sanitary environment at all times. The technician will resolve routine questions and issues, referring more complex matters to higher levels, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
