About The Position

This position with Presbyterian Healthcare Services performs a variety of routine environmental services duties, helping maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Responsibilities include upholding established cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. The Housekeeper position at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico, offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. In this role, you help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports the well‑being of patients, visitors, and staff. Through routine environmental services tasks and consistent attention to established cleanliness standards, you contribute to a facility where people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in the space around them.

Requirements

• Less than high school.
• Less than one year experience in housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness/understanding of PI Program, Excellence in action, Competencies, Mission & Vision of PRMC.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.
