About The Position
This position is with Presbyterian Healthcare Services. The role assists the Area Supervisor with daily housekeeping operations and workload coordination, and serves as backup for the Area Housekeeping Manager during absences. Responsibilities also include performing standard housekeeping duties to support a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment. Requirements
- High school or G.E.D preferred.
- One to three years experience in healthcare housekeeping.
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Inspect and survey for compliance with departmental housekeeping and cleanliness standards with proper documentation.
- Assist Environmental Service Supervisor with staff assignments and work scheduling.
- Provide input for Environmental Service staff evaluations, as needed.
- Demonstrate component and safe use of cleaning materials/equipment, and explains methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and staff.
