We are hiring a non-CDL Shuttle Driver to transport seniors and adults with disabilities to and from our day program, appointments, and outings in the Columbia, MD area. You will also help our housekeeper keep our environment clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail who can handle daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, the great room, and hallways.
Requirements
- Valid MD Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and/or current CDL license
- CPR/First Aid required before starting the position
- Able to walk, stand, and push wheelchairs throughout the day
- Basic computer literacy and skills
Responsibilities
- Transport seniors and adults with disabilities to and from our day program, appointments, and outings in the Columbia, MD area.
- Keep our environment clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
- Handle daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, the great room, and hallways.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks
- Vacuuming halls and common areas
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning and dusting residents’ rooms and common areas
- Cleaning restrooms and general bathing areas
- Mopping dining areas as needed
