About The Position

Responsible for the general appearance/housekeeping of industrial warehouse(s), and the proper disposal of waste/recyclables. This role involves operating cleaning equipment, performing daily cleaning of various warehouse areas, picking up debris and recyclables, and cleaning outside warehouse areas monthly. The position requires adherence to a normal work schedule, including necessary overtime, and involves specific physical requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a Sweeper, Scrubber and other PIT’s safely and effectively.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while operating cleaning equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to routinely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and environmental conditions.
• Must complete Lift Truck Operator training program.
• Must complete required SMS Training.
• Operate with only one person on board.
• Watch for pedestrians.
• Must complete required training.
• Must adhere to all corporate and facility safety rules including use of proper PPE for specific job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Sweeper, Scrubber and other PIT’s safely and effectively.
• Perform daily cleaning of all warehouse drive aisles and areas, pedestrian walkways, and designated locations.
• Pick up any debris/materials and recyclables throughout the facility(s).
• Operate the Scrubber feature as needed.
• Clean the outside areas of the warehouse monthly and/or as needed.
• Perform various duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Adhere to a normal work schedule, starting and stopping times and company attendance/tardiness policy.
• Work necessary overtime.
