About The Position
A private family in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeper/Cook to maintain their residence and prepare dinner for the family. The ideal candidate is warm, discreet, organized, and comfortable independently managing the day-to-day upkeep of the home.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a private home
- Strong housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and organizational skills
- Confident preparing healthy, high-quality family meals
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning throughout the residence
- Maintain the overall organization and presentation of the home
- Handle laundry, ironing, bed linens, and household linens for the family
- Prepare family-style dinners
- Plan menus and complete grocery shopping
- Maintain household and pantry inventory
- Run household errands as needed
- Cook for occasional dinner guests and provide holiday support as requested
