About The Position

A private family in River Oaks, Houston is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Household Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large private residence and support an upcoming household relocation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in vendor and household management, comfortable handling organizational projects, and capable of managing a wide range of household and estate-related responsibilities with professionalism and discretion. This is a live-out position with no childcare responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to coordinate household systems and digital organization
  • Professional, discreet, and detail-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Local knowledge of the Houston area strongly preferred
  • Flexible, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and organization of a private estate
  • Manage household vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Coordinate and supervise household staff
  • Assist with a major household move, including decluttering, organizing, and home setup
  • Manage post-construction punch list items and vendor follow-up in the new residence
  • Track household maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs/services
  • Oversee vehicle management for multiple family vehicles, including maintenance scheduling, inspections, and service coordination
  • Coordinate errands, package returns, dry cleaning, and household logistics
  • Organize closets, storage areas, household inventory, and filing systems
  • Assist with household technology coordination and administrative organization
  • Perform light household upkeep and basic household maintenance tasks as needed
  • Create and maintain organized household systems and manuals
