Household Manager and Family Assistant

Sage HausCincinnati, OH

About The Position

We are a lively, faith-based family of six with four kids who each bring their own personality, passion, and energy to the house. Our days are full: there are sports practices, school schedules, creative projects, and a household that never really stops moving. Both parents work full-time in professional roles and are out of the home most days, which means we need someone who can hold down the fort with confidence and care. We love a healthy, whole-foods approach to eating, we believe in systems that actually work, and we appreciate a home that feels calm and ordered even when life is busy. Our kids are social, curious, and full of character. One child thrives with active engagement, structure, flexibility, and a calm presence. We are looking for someone who enjoys participating alongside children rather than simply supervising them. Our family is warm, direct, and values genuine connection. We're looking for someone who feels like a natural extension of our household, not a visitor in it. You are someone who walks into a busy home and immediately knows what needs doing — without being asked. You notice the low paper towel roll, the backpack that isn't packed, and the lunchbox that needs finding before tomorrow morning. You take initiative on household tasks, but you are adaptable — respecting the family’s routines and making small adjustments rather than overhauling systems. Integrity is essential: you are someone who can be relied upon completely. You have experience in a high-energy household with multiple children, and the volume and warmth of a busy family home energizes rather than overwhelms you. You are engaging with kids — you'll shoot a basketball, build something imaginative, or just be present — without ramping up the household’s energy. You communicate well, and you take initiative to send a quick text update on what was accomplished each day. You are trustworthy, modest, and consistent. You don't need to share our faith, but you respect our values and the way we're raising our kids. Above all, you are someone we can count on—someone who shows up, follows through, and becomes a trusted part of our family's support system.
