Carnegie Mellon University's Division of Student Affairs is seeking candidates for two Housefellow and Coordinator for Residential Education roles. This position is more than a traditional residence life role; it involves serving as the primary meta-curricular advocate for students, focusing on their social, academic, intellectual, artistic, and personal development. The role is a principal contributor to the residential experience, coordinating key initiatives that support broader student development. Housefellows at Carnegie Mellon are experienced student affairs generalists who mentor students and influence their growth. They create unique experiences for a diverse community and are part of a Student Affairs program dedicated to student care and support. The Coordinator role involves overseeing and coordinating critical initiatives within Residential Education, such as the residential engagement model, student staff selection, training and development, leadership development, student success, and team culture and recognition.
