About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Hampton Roads is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The House Supervisor (RN) provides leadership and compassionate care during the assigned shift, supporting staff, patients, and families while helping maintain effective hospital operations. The position is located in Newport News, Virginia, and is scheduled for full-time nights. Compensation is $90,000–$115,000 per year, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS required at hire.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of critical care or progressive clinical care experience.
• Prior clinical management experience.
• BSN.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage resources during the assigned shift.
• Create a healthy work atmosphere that promotes team and individual growth.
• Monitor the workplace to ensure company policies and procedures are maintained.
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff and patients and families.
• Work cooperatively as an ancillary interdisciplinary team member to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs and improve operations.
