The Night House Supervisor serves as the on-site nursing and administrative leader during assigned night hours and provides hospital-wide operational oversight when department managers and senior nursing leadership are absent. The House Supervisor coordinates safe patient care, staffing, patient flow, admissions, and transfers; supports staff during clinical and operational emergencies; and serves as the primary after-hours escalation point. The position provides direction to clinical staff within established policy, scope of practice, and organizational authority and escalates significant clinical, staffing, safety, security, facility, or operational concerns to the appropriate department leader, administrator, CNO, or CEO. The House Supervisor functions as a professional role model and promotes high-quality care consistent with standards of practice, organizational policy, and applicable DNV, Federal, State, and Local requirements.
