About The Position

Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for a House Supervisor to join our Nursing Administration team! This recruitment is open until filled. Pay Information: Internal Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable Rules or Union Contract Terms. External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience. House Sup 1 starts at $53.85 per hour House Sup 2 starts at $56.53 per hour House Sup 3 starts at $59.36 per hour. A hospital house supervisor is the on-site administrative leader responsible for overseeing hospital operations during a shift, especially after hours or when senior leadership is not present. They coordinate staffing, manage patient flow, handle urgent issues, and ensure policies and regulatory standards are followed. They also serve as a key resource for clinical and non-clinical staff, supporting decision-making and resolving operational challenges in real time. House Supervisor 1: The House Supervisor 1 is an entry-level House Supervisor who is building proficiency in hospital operations, patient flow, and administrative oversight. Relies on established protocols and frequent consultation with Administrator On-Call (AOC) or senior leadership. House Supervisor 2: The House Supervisor 2 is a fully functioning House Supervisor who independently manages most hospital operations during a shift but still utilizes AOC support for high-risk, ambiguous, or escalated situations. House Supervisor 3: The House Supervisor 3 is an advanced, highly experienced House Supervisor who functions as the on-site hospital administrator with full autonomy. Demonstrates expert-level clinical, operational, and leadership judgment and rarely requires AOC involvement.

Requirements

  • House Sup 1: N/A Education
  • House Sup 1: Four (4) years of current clinical nursing experience
  • House Sup 1: State of Alaska Nursing License
  • House Sup 1: BLS, ACLS Certification
  • House Sup 2: N/A Education
  • House Sup 2: Four (4) years of current clinical nursing experience, plus one (1) year House Supervisor experience
  • House Sup 2: State of Alaska Nursing License
  • House Sup 2: BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
  • House Sup 3: N/A Education
  • House Sup 3: Four (4) years of current clinical nursing experience, plus three (3) years House Supervisor experience
  • House Sup 3: State of Alaska Nursing License
  • House Sup 3: BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
  • All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
