About The Position

This role serves as the responsible supervisor for Memorial Medical Center during non-business hours, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and compliance with hospital policies and clinical practice standards. The supervisor oversees all MMC personnel on evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; conducts frequent organizational rounds; and directs nursing staff in response to patient care needs, crises, and fluctuating patient activity. The position collaborates with multiple departments, manages after-hours O.R. scheduling, activates on-call teams for emergencies, coordinates with detention facilities, ensures regulatory compliance related to EMTALA and organ donation, and communicates significant issues to the Administrator on-call while documenting and reporting disciplinary concerns as needed.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire
  • One year of experience in Med Surge or ER
