El Dorado Springs Behavioral Health is seeking a House Supervisor (RN) for a full-time position. This role involves managing nursing department scheduling and staffing, ensuring adequate coverage, minimizing overtime and agency use, and approving time-off requests. The House Supervisor will also monitor staff attendance, maintain records, and assist with payroll. They will provide backup nursing and intake assistance, respond to patient needs, and advocate for patients. In the absence of administration, the House Supervisor oversees hospital operations, staff performance, and provides coaching and education. This role includes conducting staff evaluations, delivering disciplinary actions, assisting the Director of Nursing with department meetings, and providing support to the intake department. Maintaining knowledge of regulatory standards (TJC, Medicaid, state and federal laws) and ensuring compliance is crucial. The position also involves conflict resolution, mediation, and conducting thorough investigations with accurate documentation and reporting. Comprehensive nursing skills, including assessments, treatment planning, admission/discharge procedures, medication administration, and direct patient care, are essential. Ensuring timely, accurate, and complete documentation and delivering quality nursing care to achieve treatment plan goals are key responsibilities.
