About The Position

The RN House Supervisor serves as the clinical and administrative leader of the hospital during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for overseeing hospital operations, supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety across all departments. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required within 6 months
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence
  • Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Oversee staffing and patient care assignments across departments
  • Serve as a mentor, resource, and support for nursing and clinical staff
  • Coordinate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Respond to emergencies and hospital-wide operational needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and administration

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives
