The House Supervisor (Registered Nurse) is a full-time night position responsible for monitoring clinical operations during their assigned shift. This role involves determining and evaluating staffing levels, communicating with clinical areas, assessing staff skills, and considering patient needs. The House Supervisor effectively organizes and prioritizes work, anticipates problems, and assists with clinical assignments as needed. They maintain ongoing communication with Department Leaders and direct calls to Nursing Leadership or the Administrator on Call when immediate direction is required. Clinical rounding is also a key responsibility throughout the shift.
