The House Supervisor is responsible for the evaluation and support of patient care delivery under the guidance of the CNO. The House Supervisor supports delivery of direct patient care when needed and provides administrative and clinical resources to employees on evening/nights and weekends. The House Supervisor is the senior management person in the organization on evening/nights and weekends, and is responsible for the operation of the entire hospital. The House Supervisor is the liaison with the department heads and Medical Staff to support patient needs and organizational goals and objectives. They may handle human blood and other potentially infectious and/or hazardous materials, which may result in possible exposure to blood borne pathogens and/or harmful elements.
