If you are enthusiastic, organized, and have a passion for supporting performing arts in our community, join the Cary Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Resources team as a House Manager. This role requires excellent communication skills, crowd management abilities, and a strong customer service mindset. The House Manager works across the Cary Arts Center and The Cary Theater, overseeing all public areas of Cary's performing arts venues. This role will be responsible for overseeing ushers, greeting patrons, and managing the crowd. Most importantly, this person will ensure that the experience of each patron is enjoyable and safe. The House Manager will work a combination of non-traditional hours including days, evenings, and weekends as determined by Cary’s performing arts schedule, including related work pre- and post-show. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Program Specialist. This is a part-time, non-benefited, year-round position, up to 20 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours per year.
