About The Position
The Department of Theatre is seeking a student who is self-motivated, dependable, and familiar with the department’s production season to serve as House Manager.
Requirements
- Appropriate verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work effectively independently within a team environment.
- Reliability and a good attendance habits.
- Must be appropriately dressed to represent a professional work environment.
- Familiarity with the Department of Theatre and its production season.
Nice To Haves
- Patron services/customer service experience.
- Experience coordinating volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and train ushers; manage front of house areas; enforce House rules; liaise with the box office staff; other related duties as assigned.
