About The Position

A private and warm family in Coconut Grove, Miami is seeking an experienced full-time house manager/housekeeper with cooking skills to run their home with warmth and discretion. The household is a family of 3, including an 18-year-old son, in a home of approximately 5,000 square feet with a small French bulldog. This is a live-out position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility to 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The family travels often, so there will be times they are away and the home needs a trusted person to look after it.

Requirements

5 years minimum experience as a housekeeper or house manager in a private home
Commute of 30 minutes or less
Background check required

Responsibilities

Keep the entire home cleaned, tidied and in excellent order
Prepare light meals for the family. Cooking is a plus, this is not a chef role
Serve as the main point of contact for the home, coordinating with the family's assistant and the gentleman who cares for the property 3 to 4 times a week
Work alongside the part-time laundress so the household runs smoothly
Help care for the family dog, including walks when needed
Watch over the home and house sit while the family is traveling
