About The Position

House Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support Employment Type: Part-Time 25-30 hours per week Proposed Schedule: Monday - Thursday within timeframe of 9-4pm (Mondays required) Flexibility for occasional weekend or evening support Compensation: $35–$45 per hour, based on experience Start Date: ASAP About Our Family We are an active, adventurous, and growth-oriented family living on acreage in the mountains outside of Denver. By design, our home is surrounded by nature and wildlife. Health and personal development are central to our lifestyle, we train hard, spend time outdoors, invest in wellness, and prioritize intentional living while nurturing our growing family. We have a preschool-aged child and are also preparing to welcome our second child this spring. Our family also includes two senior dogs who require daily care. We value peace and quiet within our home and we work hard and aim to live with purpose. We are transitioning from a more structured, “buttoned-up” lifestyle to one that feels more aligned, present, and connected. While we’re goal-oriented and intentional about how we live, our days are full and we want our home to feel calm and naturally supportive. We’re hoping to find someone who can genuinely lighten the mental load and partner with us in owning the many layers of household management. Responsibilities

  • Household Management & Organization
  • Maintain household organization systems including closets, storage, pantry and toys
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily; maintain overall neatness, ensure home is prepped for cleaning services
  • Support and oversee household schedules and calendars
  • Conduct seasonal swaps: clothing, décor, bedding, etc.
  • Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest stays
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick ups
  • Support packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal transitions
  • Manage and coordinate household vendors, ensuring seamless execution and accountability
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces and vacuum high traffic areas
  • Maintain indoor plants
  • Inventory Management & Errands
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries and household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Coordinate and manage household orders: Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, etc.
  • Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries
  • Meal Planning & Preparation
  • Plan and prepare nutrient-dense meals and snacks for adults and child
  • Batch cook weekly meals and prepare school lunches as needed
  • Collaborate with the family’s nutritionist to align meals with postpartum recovery, women’s health, athletic performance, and child nutrition goals
  • Create a hybrid approach of freshly prepared daily meals and thoughtfully prepared freezer meals for ease and flexibility
  • Shop for groceries and source high-quality ingredients
  • Follow specific dietary preferences including gluten-free, limited dairy, no refined sugar, low-carb, high-protein focus, and prioritization of organic, grass-fed/grass finished, and pasture-raised products
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen before, during, and after meal preparation
  • Laundry & Linen Care
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Ensure all clothing and bedding are properly cared for, including removing pet hair and maintaining a wrinkle-free, well-presented finish
  • Manage linens, rotate bedding, refresh towels and restock essentials
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
  • Pet Care
  • Feed and walk dogs
  • Schedule and coordinate vet, grooming, or daycare appointments
  • Administer medications (if required)
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
  • Vehicle Management
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance, oil changes, and inspections
  • Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized
  • Track registration, insurance, and service schedules
  • Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Schedule and supervise service providers: cleaners, contractors, landscapers, etc.
  • Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes
  • Manage routine upkeep of property
  • Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs
  • Serve as primary contact for vendors or guests
  • Family Support & Child Assistance
  • Primary childcare is established; however, the ideal candidate is confident and skilled in providing thoughtful, engaging backup care and light supervision when circumstances require
  • Prep backpacks, clothing, or snacks for school
  • Help with child-related laundry or errands
  • Ability to support an occasional weekday evening or weekend date night
  • Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Oversee House Cleaners thoroughness and tackle occasional deep cleans: fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.
  • Maintain and refresh specific zones: entryways, garage, mudroom, etc.
  • Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthly
  • Organize special projects: toy storage, seasonal decorations, gear rotation, etc.
  • Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
  • Support with travel planning, scheduling, and logistics
  • Support with family calendars and reminders
  • Handle basic budgeting or receipt tracking for home supplies
