About The Position
The Resort Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall comfort of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and relaxing environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or hotel/resort cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies/patios according to resort standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all assigned areas
- Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, restrooms, event center & cook shack area.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management promptly
- Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply inventory
- Provide friendly, professional, and discreet guest interaction
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
