Samaritan Daytop Village is a nationally recognized comprehensive Health and Human Services Agency with over 60 programs across New York City and the greater New York Area. We serve over 33,000 New Yorkers annually. The House Counselor is responsible for monitoring the therapeutic environment and specific program systems to ensure the security, safety, and efficiency of daily client services and activities. This includes monitoring and supporting all client scheduled treatment services or activities, ensuring clients' external appointments are scheduled, carfare is available, and clients return safely and on time with feedback. The House Counselor will also ensure efficient program activities' coordination by working closely with the Assistant Directors of Operations and Clinical and, where applicable, the Assistant Program Director, in support of Samaritan Daytop Village's mission and goals.
