About The Position

Professionally clean customer homes using Merry Maids’ cleaning procedures and products while providing consistently exceptional customer service. House Cleaners work as part of a close-knit team, building strong relationships with customers and helping them spend more time with family or on activities they enjoy. The role includes carrying cleaning supplies and equipment, maintaining supplies and equipment, and contributing to a dependable, positive team environment. Paid training and opportunities for career advancement are offered, including potential paths to team captain, trainer, quality assurance supervisor, or manager.

Requirements

Ability to distinguish cleaning products and understand their uses.
Ability to read cleaning instructions.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds of equipment.
Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
Ability to drive to and from various job sites.

Responsibilities

Use Merry Maids cleaning products and procedures in customers’ homes.
Use provided equipment, including vacuums and microfiber cleaning cloths.
Clean home surfaces, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors.
Clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms.
Vacuum stairs, carpet, hard-surface floors, and furniture.
Move reasonably moveable furniture to clean underneath and behind it.
Carry cleaning products and equipment to and from the office, vehicle, and customers’ homes.
Help keep supplies stocked and maintain equipment.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and support the team effort by wearing a uniform, being dependable, and arriving on time.
Treat co-workers and customers with respect and understanding.
Drive to and from various job sites.
