About The Position

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Norfolk County, MA and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. Lap of Love is a veterinarian-founded and owned company that prioritizes professional fulfillment and personal freedom, allowing veterinarians to practice with purpose while maintaining a balanced life. The position is part of a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, mentorship, and support from practice managers and a dedicated Support Center.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Availability to work some weekends
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
