About The Position

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian for the Treasure Coast, FL and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. Lap of Love is a veterinarian-founded and owned company that prioritizes professional fulfillment and personal well-being, offering a balanced and supported career path. Veterinarians work with a community of over 400 professionals, supported by ongoing training, mentors, and practice managers.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
• Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
• Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
