About The Position

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas within the hotel, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role involves daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including floor care, carpet and furniture shampooing, and restroom upkeep.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-30 pounds
• Ability to work standing or walking for entire shift
• Work with little or no supervision while maintaining high-levels of cleanliness and efficiency
• Strong attention to detail
• Available to work a varied schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean/Buff floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in the public areas according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo furniture as needed according to hotel standards.
• Clean Public restrooms and ensure maintenance on a regular basis/ as needed throughout the shift.
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
