About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, while providing exceptional service to guests. The House Attendant acts as an advocate for the hotel, creating personalized experiences and building relationships with guests to encourage their return.

Requirements

Weekend availability (Sat-Sun)
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
1 year of experience in customer service or similar position.
Passion for customer service
Good verbal communication skills
Basic writing skills.
Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma is preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure the lobby, hallways, public areas, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley are kept clean.
Clean and set up meeting room functions according to function sheets.
Perform deep cleaning of assigned areas, including shampooing of rooms and public spaces.
Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions such as morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
Deliver housekeeping items (hair dryers, ironing boards, irons, etc.) to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
Receive assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from the supervisor at the beginning of the shift.
Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
