About The Position

The Hourly Testing Assistant provides secure, accessible, and professional administration of academic, accommodated, vendor, and professional examinations. This position performs a variety of testing, customer service, and operational duties, including candidate check-in, test administration, testing room monitoring, exam preparation, and maintaining testing security and confidentiality. The Hourly Testing Assistant may assist with coordinating testing activities and providing guidance to other staff as assigned. This position is expected to exercise sound judgment within established procedures, promptly communicate testing concerns or irregularities, and refer complex issues or matters requiring additional authority to full-time Testing Services staff. This position requires flexibility to work shifts outside of typical business hours as operational needs or departmental priorities require. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
