About The Position

This role involves working with management to create and update budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. The supervisor provides feedback on department operations, product quality, and financial performance, and reviews financial reports to identify discrepancies. They also review capitalization expenditures for equipment orders, identify business-driving opportunities, and assist management with budgets. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring proper cleanup of hazardous materials are key responsibilities. The role requires the ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery, and to assist with department duties as necessary, including assisting in other warehouse departments.

Responsibilities

• Works with management to create and update budgets, as well as track actual expenditures for multiple areas.
• Observes procedures and reviews audit checklists to ensure compliance with safety.
• Provides feedback to warehouse management on department operations, appearance of department, quality of product, performance of department, and meat plant P&L.
• Reviews financial reports, verifies results, and investigates discrepancies.
• Prepares weekly reports for various departments.
• Reviews capitalization expenditures to order equipment based on production.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities to drive business to the Warehouse Manager.
• Assists location and/or corporate management with budgets and updates.
• Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Operates vehicles, equipment or machinery.
• Assists with department duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
