About The Position

Pilgrim’s is hiring an Hourly Maintenance team member in Guntersville, Alabama, to support a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery, responding to production-related mechanical issues, and performing preventive maintenance. The schedule is Monday through Friday and weekends, with shifts varying. Candidates must be able to work assigned days and shifts, including weekends, and lift 50 pounds or more.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General mathematical ability to perform the job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
• Ability to work assigned days and shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
• Identify parts or machines that need new or replacement parts.
• Use shop mathematics to complete assignments.
• Interpret equipment drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery properly.
• Respond to requests from production areas when mechanical equipment issues are identified.
• Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and determine potential mechanical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently with regard to time and resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
