About The Position
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, associates, and hotel property. This position patrols the hotel and surrounding areas, responds to safety and security concerns, assists with incidents and emergencies, completes incident reports, and provides professional assistance to guests and team members as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to occasionally bend, reach, lift, and carry items as required.
- Ability to observe and assess situations effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and completing reports, including using a computer and reviewing printed materials.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to incidents or emergencies.
- Must be available to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred (if patrol duties require driving).
