Hotel Room Attendant
About The Position
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Attendant to join our Team! Our 142 room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Marlborough is located near Apex Entertainment and many corporate offices. We’re off US 20 and I-495, ten minutes from I-90. New England Sports Center and New England Baseball Complex are three miles away. Our guests from all over the country enjoy a daily complimentary breakfast. The Hampton Inn is one of 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- An engaging personality.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
