Expedia Group is seeking a supporting-level team member to apply foundational infrastructure/platform knowledge to ambiguous technical/non-technical projects and tasks. The Technical Solutions Analyst will assist with issue investigations, data analysis, and remediation for internal and external infrastructure disruptions and/or service enhancements. This role involves applying technical expertise in coordination with technical teams to resolve service and system disruptions, recommending interim and long-term solutions, and contacting required resources inside and outside the company to resolve problems. The position also involves developing and maintaining support documentation, identifying opportunities for improving services and/or products, confirming comprehension of complex information, and creating clear communication materials tailored to specific audiences. The role requires reporting on work status, coordinating stakeholders to develop solutions, thinking holistically to identify opportunities for efficiency, and assisting with a whole system approach to analyzing issues. Research and analysis of complex technical data using statistical methods is also a key part of this role, along with identifying needs for process improvement and adapting to new processes for efficiency. Collaboration with team members to co-develop and solve problems is essential.
