About The Position

Riverwalk Casino, located in Vicksburg, MS, is seeking a part-time Hotel Night Auditor. This role serves as the person in charge during the night shift, responsible for compiling and balancing all cashier transactions of the day. Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the staff.
• Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
• Excellent math and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge or training in accounting.
• Prior experience necessary.
• Ability to stand, bend and reach with arms and hands, kneel.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Recording all hotel cashier transactions, including room and food and beverage audits.
• Reviewing, organizing, and compiling management reports.
• Ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and general ledger transactions.
• Greeting and registering guests as necessary.
• Performing supervisory duties in the absence of the Front Office Supervisor.
• Performing normal duties as a front desk clerk when not acting as night auditor.
• Assisting guests with purchases from the Gift Shop and computing and collecting payment in Micros.
• Keeping Gift Shop stock with merchandise.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
