About The Position
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality, nursing home or residential setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities effectively.
Nice To Haves
- KCMO pool maintenance certification a plus!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct residential painting, wallpaper, and other repair tasks to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic and operational standards.
- Maintain pool chemical balance in compliance with KCMO health department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests, ensuring minimal disruption.
