About The Position

My Place Hotel of ST. GEORGE is seeking to hire a hardworking, motivated individual for our full-time Maintenance and Landscaping position. This individual is responsible for the repairs, maintenance, landscaping, upkeep, and replacement of the property's systems in accordance with hotel standards. Pool experience is a plus but can train the right person. Our Maintenance Technician / Landscaper starts with a competitive wage of $18.00-$21.00/hour based on experience. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of hotel maintenance experience
Previous guest relations experience and/or training
Any building trade license/certificate in the state of Utah
Heart for service and a positive, can-do attitude
Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
Good interpersonal skills
Reliable
Enjoys fixing things

Responsibilities

Repairs, maintenance, landscaping, upkeep, and replacement of the property's systems in accordance with hotel standards.
Ensure that the exterior of our hotel is clean and appealing.
Keep the exterior of our hotel clean and make sure that our landscaping is in top shape.
Complete building maintenance to keep everything in working order.
Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as stairwells, hallways, and elevators.
