About The Position
Big Horn Lodge in beautiful Moab, Utah is hiring a part-time Facilities Attendant to help maintain the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our hotel property. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys supporting a positive guest experience.
Requirements
- Pool certification required within 60 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel or general maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
- Strong attention to detail and organization
Responsibilities
- Maintain the physical facilities through structured preventive, corrective, and repair maintenance programs
- Complete daily work orders in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform hotel room preventive maintenance, public areas, and back-of-house spaces with proper documentation
- Maintain grounds, entrances, landscaping, parking lots, and walkways in a neat and safe condition
- Perform and document snow removal and ice melt promptly to ensure safety
- Ensure pool chemistry and temperature comply with health department standards
- Ensure the safety and security of the building and grounds
- Demonstrate positive guest relations and hospitality standards
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
- Assist with emergencies and on-call coverage as needed
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management
