Hotel Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care. This role involves completing and documenting guest and associate work orders, troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and maintaining pool systems and chemicals. Additionally, the technician will repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances. The position also includes seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties, as well as operating and maintaining hand tools and power equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
