Requirements
- Previous hotel, apartment, or building maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders
Responsibilities
- Complete guest room and public-area repairs
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and carpentry work
- Complete preventive maintenance inspections
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests
- Identify safety concerns, leaks, damage, and equipment problems
- Maintain work orders, tools, parts, and maintenance areas
- Assist with emergency repairs and other hotel needs
- Follow hotel safety procedures and brand standards
