Hotel Maintenance Engineer
About The Position
Come and join The Connally Hotel Downtown ATL right by Underground. Our 156 room 17 story hotel needs a Maintenance Tech who get help keep our hotel up and running and help our overall maintenance team. · Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. · Replace air conditioner filters. · Tend air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests. · Maintain standards of quality guest service. · Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. · Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. · Attend required meetings. · Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. · Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. · Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. · Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of maintenance duties and tasks
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone Hospitality and the hotel's policies and procedures.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
