About The Position
Our hotel maintenance staff perform a wide range of essential tasks, helping to ensure the smooth operations that result in happy customers and Enhancing Lives. A growing company, Hampton Inn Suites Hammond La, is currently seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
Requirements
- Minimum of (2) years' experience in maintenance work (preferred but not required).
- Plumbing knowledge.
- Painting knowledge.
- Electrical knowledge.
- Sheetrock knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Routine preventive maintenance (e.g., changing HVAC filters, lubricating kitchen equipment, regular boiler maintenance).
- Scheduling regular inspections of electrical equipment and/or elevators as required by state and local law.
- Working with vendors to replace old and install new equipment.
- Making minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or construction-related repairs.
- Referring to blueprints, diagrams, and manuals for repairs.
- Arranging for the pick-up or delivery of necessary parts and supplies.
- Performing plumbing, painting, electrical, and sheetrock tasks.
