About The Position

Join Our Team as an Engineer at the Tru by Hilton Franklin! Do you love troubleshooting, working with your hands, and learning from experienced pros to keep a hotel running flawlessly? At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be a vital part of keeping our property in peak condition—working side-by-side with our Chief Engineer to tackle routine maintenance, master preventive care, and handle basic repairs across all of our key facility systems.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of previous experience in a maintenance or construction-related field.
• Basic understanding of building maintenance principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting at least 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, and bending/kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and preventive repairs on building systems and equipment throughout the property.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, such as refrigerators, ice machines, and laundry equipment.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the hotel grounds and public areas.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines in the use of tools and equipment.
