About The Position

The Sunray Companies is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join the team at Hampton Inn Hammond La. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of essential tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations, leading to happy customers and enhanced lives. The position involves routine preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and working with vendors for equipment replacement. A minimum of two years of experience in maintenance is preferred but not required. The role requires knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, and sheetrock. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as changing HVAC filters, lubricating kitchen equipment, and regular boiler maintenance.
Schedule and conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and/or elevators as required by state and local law.
Work with vendors to replace old and install new equipment.
Make minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or construction-related repairs throughout the premises.
Refer to blueprints, diagrams, and manuals for repairs.
Arrange for the pick-up or delivery of necessary parts and supplies.
