About The Position
The Hotel Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for protecting and maintaining the hotel itself, the property it’s on, and the surrounding grounds. This role involves attending to daily maintenance and repairs, including HVAC problem-solving and drywall repair. The engineer is expected to save the day by ensuring minimal issues arise. The position requires an affable and reliable individual to keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes. When interacting with guests, the engineer must be accommodating, patient, and warm while resolving issues quickly and seamlessly. Flexibility, fast-thinking, and teamwork are key to success in this role.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
- Passion for hospitality, repairs/maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Experience in engineering.
- Team player.
- Hard worker.
- Detail-oriented.
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

- A post-secondary diploma or degree.
