Hotel Laundry & Uniform Supervisor
About The Position
The Uniform Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the proper and smooth operation of the Laundry and Uniform Room operations. This is a working Supervisor position who will work alongside of the Uniform and Laundry Attendants. Responsible for all training of Uniform and Laundry Attendants. Responsible for issuing, tracking, organizing, washing, and pressing uniforms for all uniforms and linen such as sheets, napkins, tablecloths, and terry. Assist with conducting quality audits to ensure all items are in good condition. Replace worn garments as needed and record linen and terry discard. Ensure that there is always a well-maintained par level of all inventory. Conduct inventory and submit order recommendations to the Rooms Operations Manager so that par levels are always maintained. Assist employees with uniform issues ranging from quality, sizing, and fittings. Coach and counsel Laundry and Uniform Attendants, as needed. Assist with performance reviews for Landry and Uniform employees with the guidance of the Rooms Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping or Laundry preferred.
- Experience in the hospitality or laundry industry required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint experience desirable.
- Computer experience with an Inventory system desirable.
Responsibilities
