About The Position

The Town Pump Hotel Group is seeking a motivated and outgoing Hotel Laundry Attendant who will embody their mission statement: “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.” Town Pump is a growing company with increasing opportunities for career advancement. As a Hotel Laundry Attendant, your primary role will be to manage the collection, cleaning, folding, and restocking of terry and linen, ensuring an excellent guest experience in line with Town Pump and brand operational standards. You will also be responsible for completing all required training and certifications, adhering to grooming and appearance guidelines, and maintaining an accurate linen inventory. Safety is paramount, and you will practice safe working conditions under OSHA guidelines, including Bloodborne pathogens awareness, while keeping the laundry room clean and organized. Confidentiality of guest and company information is expected. This role may also involve assisting with housekeeping duties, cleaning public areas, participating in inventories, cleaning guest rooms, and supporting breakfast service as needed.

Requirements

Motivated and outgoing personality.
Ability to model the company's mission statement.
Completion of all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications.
Adherence to Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines.
Knowledge of safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne pathogens.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
Compliance with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information.

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, clean, fold, and re-stock terry and linen.
Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, according to Town Pump and brand operational standards.
Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
Wear uniform and nametag always while on shift, and follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines.
Ensure all linen inventory is accounted for and in good condition.
Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne pathogens.
Maintain a clean, organized laundry room within Town Pump operational standards.
Comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information.
Perform other duties as needed such as housekeeping, cleaning the lobby, assisting in inventories, cleaning guest rooms, and public areas, assisting with breakfast service, etc.
