About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our team. As a Hotel Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotels rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to hospitality will ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects.

Ability to perform routine tasks repeatedly with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to greet and interact with guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Availability to work overtime and irregular hours.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus, but not required.
Weekends and Holidays required.

Responsibilities

Clean rooms as needed, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
Move and arrange furniture, dust, and polish furniture, metalwork, and equipment.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered machinery.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies with a vacuum cleaner.
Collect soiled linens for laundering and store clean linens in the linen closet.
Clean bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
Restock rooms with necessary supplies (towels, etc.) and prepare the cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for the shift.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays; transport trash to disposal areas.
Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Handle all requests for luggage assistance in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
