About The Position

The Hotel Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms. This role also involves handling heavy-duty cleaning tasks, managing supplies, assisting Room Attendants, and responding to guest requests. The position is full-time and operates during evening hours.

Requirements

Janitorial or hotel cleaning experience preferred – You clean thoroughly without disturbing guests.
High school diploma or equivalent
Keen eye for detail – A spotless lobby and fresh atmosphere are your proud achievements.
Physically fit – Able to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and keep going throughout your shift.
Flexible schedule – Days, nights, weekends, holidays—you’re ready when we need you.

Responsibilities

Keep public areas sparkling clean—lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and beyond.
Handle heavy-duty cleaning projects like carpet care, floor polishing, and dusting hard-to-reach spots.
Stock and organize cleaning carts and supply closets.
Help Room Attendants by restocking linens, clearing trash, and prepping rooms for guests.
Respond quickly and cheerfully to guest requests and safety concerns.
