As a Houseman/Porter, you will be responsible for removing trash, transporting linen and terry, moving boxes of product and supplies, and performing heavy lifting for the housekeeping department. You will also be responsible for vacuuming public areas, corridors, and maintaining the pool area.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
- Removes trash from closet area and compacts it
- Assist room attendants from removing trash and debris from rooms
- Transports soiled linens to laundry department
- Returns clean linens and terry to housekeeping storage on the guest floors
- Vacuums public areas
- Maintains pool area and fitness rooms
- Assist in inventory of supplies and equipment
- Shampoos carpet and buffs tile
- Sweep and mops stair wells daily
- Cleans smoking urns
- Delivers boxes of product and supplies to housekeeping department or warehouse
- Assists room attendants in cleaning rooms
- Picks up trash and debris in public areas
- Cleans shower and bathroom in pool areas
- Cleans glass on windows in public areas
- Flips mattresses quarterly
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Will be able to work varied shifts – i.e. days, nights, weekends, holidays
- Knowledge of all promotions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
